I see Grimsby's very own much loved MP is getting a bit of a hard time in the GT today.

Which currently serving MP's do you detest the most. Top five:

1) Gordon Brown
2) Harriet Harman
3) Nick Clegg
4) Ed Balls
5) Alistair Darling

I can't name any MPs in this thread as that would imply that I "like" one more than another and I have nothing but utter contempt for each and every one of them equally.

Nadine Dorries is an absolute moron and needs kicking in the shins.

Osborne/Clegg & Cameron go without saying. Michael Gove is a smarmy sharp object with godawful ideas too.

Surely Tony Benn, Sir Menzies Campbell don't deserve to be vilified like the other idiots who milk us for a living.

To be honest they are all a bunch of cunts. They all live lifestyles that bear no relation to the vast majority of their constituents (do you earn £60-odd grand a year plus another £30K plus as 'expenses'?). Why they need two houses when some poor sods can't afford one I'll never know. And do the fuckers ever travel by anything less than first class? I think not.

Far be it for me to defend any of the freeloading tossers, but yes, they DO travel on less than first class usually. Lots of them were returned from their summer holibobs by Easyjet this week. (Not sure who paid mind...!)

Michael gove... girl private.

David Cameron...aside from being a Tory which makes him a male private, he's got adducing annoying voice and a man of his age should really have started shaving...an he looks like he's made of wax they use at Madame taussauds.

The Tory MP for Lincoln, he looks like a complete twit and he deserves to be hated because he doesn't want the Olympic torch to be shown at the leisure centre where all of Lincolnshire athletics and many a sport is done because it's in a council estate and heaven forbid the prolateriate and some commoners may show up so he wants it at te castle, only for the more 'middle' class of Lincolnshire locals yet it is logistically difficult and he then moaned in the local rag...nob!

'the poor and the needy are selfish and greedy'...well done Mozza

Wanting to become an MP,should preclude them from becoming one.

We need more people running the country who at least have some idea what it's like in everyday Britain.

Don't know if or how this could be achieved but for now i just ignore politics altogether. It's easier that way.

What Biccys said. I have never, ever felt as apathetic about politics and Government in general as I do these days. They have shown themselves to be interested in nothing more than big business, dollars and themselves in general. I'm tired of identikit career politicians, who do you think you are telling me what to do when you've never had a proper job in your life? I'm tired of the "do as I say, not as I do" rhetoric. I'm tired of the same old cliches being thrown around. I'm tired of the fact that public image is more important than integrity.

It was however, amusing to see Harriet Harman "QC", visibly quaking on TV and hoping that the police would get a grip and sort our all the nasty men.

what made me smile the most was seeing the bitc.h squirming in her chair watching the very people she bent over backwards to accommodate into her "equality and diversity" policies wreck the very city she lives in,classic karma imho.

I think you'll find that was Ted Heath (for starters) ably abetted by John Major et al.

Oh and it's INFIDELS.

....but don't forget the early 70's when we were getting pay increases two or three times per year when inflation was rampant and Heath agreed to trigger cost of living payments when it reached a certain point. It was an amazing time. Certainly agree with you about Europe though. Instead of infadels, could we not have felafels?

David Cameron. The only man in Britain with the gall (apart from if I heard him right Prescott last night) to say that the police only got their act together when the M.P.s returned from their holidays.
Danny Alexander. The smuggest M.P. ever and he's ginger.
George Osborne. His Economic policies are roughly akin to Hitler shuffling imaginary armies in the defence of Berlin at the end of WW2.
Teresa May. Totally and completely out of her depth.
Eric Pickles. The Tories sop towards the working class. "I got where I am today..." Judging by his waistline he's confusing sound bites with buffet bites.

The aim of argument or discussion should not be victory but progress.
