I’ve said it before, if we can keep Danny Rose - we’d all be delighted.
He’s been an absolute machine in the centre of the park. Couldn’t imagine a match where he’s not playing.
Would love to see us sitting down in the summer and agreeing a deal, but he was saying on Saturday that he’s bought a house in Humberston. So might end up at somewhere a bit more local.

I'm surprised he's committing to stay in this area, although Scott Vernon did the same after he was released and plays for our neighbours Cleethorpes. Rose's likely options in this area would literally be Gainsborough or Boston United if he's planning on staying in more senior Non-League divisions. It's a bit of an odd one, we were chuffed when we signed him but he just looked off the pace and past his best, that was plainly evident under Holloway and he was pretty much frozen out under Hurst. This season he was 1 of 4/5 players who weren't even given a squad number, he was just made available on a free and was training away from the first team. Despite this I heard he would turn up on match days and watch the games so shows you despite all the above he's clearly got a committed professional attitude. Best of luck to him.

Not an ex-player (yet), but Lenny scored the first for York in their 2-0 win at Fylde last night.

He probably feels at home with all the local conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxers.

Richard Brodie has retired and has left Skelmersdale. He was there for 2 years which given his track record was a long time.
He's now coaching at Ashton Athletic in the North Western Counties Premier.

Just don't let him coach penalty taking!

He played for 18 different clubs (over 21 different transfers or loans) between joining Crawley in 2010 and Skelmersdale in 2019.
