Floodlights arrived in 1958 as I recall. They were on stumpy concrete posts. Didn't we play Dynamo Prague or someone to christen the new lights. I can't see the Ritz in the foreground so it might be a pre-ww2 photo. Evidently the Ritz wasn't opened until 1937 (before my time though. I always thought it had been there since the year dot).
