Thoughts for next season?
I'm thinking on the right track but it's been too bloody long, especially for us old ones with less time left.

Home form has been diabolical. And until that improves you wont go anywhere.

Start set piece training asap. None of this "we haven't started working on it yet" crap we had at the start this season. Also plan to start the season with 5/3 at the back. A good effort this season but if we had done these 2 things we would have been in the playoffs at least imo.

Set pieces are an immediate concern and should have been addressed as of 7 months ago.

We need Artell to make subs a bit earlier, which is something we experienced with Hurst.

Khouri is my one standout player this season as a lad that does some really good stuff but then some less than good stuff. I didn’t think he was a league 2 player at the beginning of the season and I’m still of that mindset. It goes without saying that we MUST win games at home.

Agree with the other posters re set pieces, how many corners or free kicks do we get, where we make a 5 yard pass tippy tap about and the either lose the ball or it goes out of play. Today 1-0 down, and not once in the second half is the ball put into the box, no wonder we don’t score many goals.

The problem is, when we do put a ball in, it either hits the first man or floats through to the keeper. I'd love to see stats for chances creates from set pieces - we must be near the bottom.

How to defend properly.
How to capitalise on attacking set pieces.

Deal with those screaming weaknesses first .

I was thinking more about defending set pieces but attacking ones could use some work. Especially the one where Hume falls over the ball 😂

Also, the long throw into their box, not once today and every other time I can remember has a town player headed the throw first, it just seems to go into the box for a defender to head it clear, from there we’re usually short at the back due to the big men from the back being upfield, and the opposition are charging at our goal.
