We are just above the number home tickets sold for the Forest League Cup game I think, but of course if you buy a ticket for a cup game like that only a last minute disaster would see you not turn up. Hopefully only a small percentage will not turn up and not release for such a big game. Still plenty of seats together in the Osmond though, you'd hope we can shift another 500 to fill 2 blocks and have the third opened up.

I think Polly said at the latest forum game by game it's about a 15% non show up across ST? I may have got the figure wrong, or have completely made it up somehow.

If not though that would mean currently on those figures we'd be expecting about 6,700... Obviously that's applying an average figure across a season to a single event (on a bank holiday) which probably isn't wise.

On average, you can always deduct around 10% as standard off the total figure for fans who can’t make the game due to weddings, stag/hen dos, birthdays, holidays, illness, last-minute change of plans, etc. Par for the course throughout any season across all clubs.

For us, that 10% figure climbs a bit, because in the last few years we have loads more STHs that don’t show up because they live far away (and not all remember to release their seat).

A conservative figure for us would be an attendance 15% below whatever figure we arrive at in terms of seats sold.

Our capacity (for argument’s sake) is 9,000 so realistically a sell-out for us would be an attendance of 7,600 - and that’s what I’d guess our attendance will be tomorrow if we ‘sell out’.

The only way we’d hit 8,000 these days is if all STHs turn up, or if all re-sold their seats.

A few have made 8k since we made it back to the league Doncaster & Bradford first season I think.

Our biggest gate last season was Wrexham 7728 and every seat was definitely sold for that - I doubt even if we sell every home ticket it will be that high because Swindon will be 300 short in the corner - about 7100 announced probably .

Only a big game if we have a Luke seat count!
