He now has an Hungarian passport so he could also play for them. Are the Faroe FA giving him a cap to tie him to them?

He now has a Faeroese passport ( got it late last year) which is why we could get the deal over the line and why this is his first call up

It's the GTFC effect. They don't even need to have played a game for the club, but become more desirable for international managers by association.
