There's no chance it'll be a gate of 7K. The games against Accrington and Tranmere showed that there's normally at least 800+ season ticket holders who don't show up for midweek games for one reason or another. I also can't see Notts bringing that many, certainly no more than about 800, they're pretty poor travellers usually given the size of their home attendances and the relatively short distance.
My guess is that it'll be 5500-6500 depending on the weather.

I took the liberty of doing it. My counting skills become rocky beyond 10 but if I've done the job right then this is the breakdown:
Upper - 17 seats (6 Restricted View) Lower - 0 seats Pontoon - 37 seats Main Stand - 227 seats (130 restricted view) Osmond - 59 seats
Total - 340 seats available (136 restricted view).
Within that, the only places with two seats sat next to each other is the Osmond or the upper rows of the main stand. Perhaps the mid-week reductions might not be so severe given the importance, locality(ish) and feel-good factor of the weekends win and the form we're in.

Notts' away followings have been really good for about 5 years now, they've done a bit of a Lincoln. I'd be surprised if their section of The Osmond isn't full.

I think this is futile. I agree it shouldnât be, but the ticket portal simply does not tell the truth! My row in the Findus, for example, is completely sold out every game, despite most of the seats NOT having âreservedâ stickers on them. These seats invariably remain empty, or have different people sat in them every time. Itâs ludicrous really as often i would have taken an extra seat around there for my other boy, but theyâre never available. Then youâve got the Osmond when itâs open to Town fans. I recently went in there - the two tickets I bought on the portal were pretty much the only ones sold for the Fleetwood game. I get to the ground and hey pesto, there were 400-500 fans in there, including someone sat in my seat!! I can almost guarantee I was the only person to actually PAY for a ticket in the Osmond that game. A family behind me at the turnstiles even asked me âis this the Osmond stand?â, so clearly they were all on freebies. I think itâs good the club is trying to entice more people to come to games, Iâm not saying otherwise. What I AM saying is that ticket portal simply does not tell you the real picture, not even close.

The one question we don't know is "How many ST's will not turn up. When Debbie was in charge, she mentioned about 10%, on average, don't.

Notts sold out, about 7400 sold then by that reckoning i think as the 2nd block of the Osmond isn't available in the town corner yet . Although a good few might not be able to make it from the original fixture ?

Like someone mentioned, I think it's tough to go by what is available on the ticketing portal. We've had these types of ticket count before and it never really tallies up - though I appreciate I'm stating the obvious there.
I do think that this will be a generally better attendance than the Tranmere and Accrington games where the ability to watch more readily and easily on TV may have affected decisions to travel etc for some. The fact Notts should bring a better following than a lot of teams automatically boosts the overall gate, but I think the mood after Saturdays win will entice people to be there rather than sit behind a screen in the home ends. I'm not sure we'll break 7k but I think it'll be closer to that than 5k.
