Looks absolutely horrific inside. Thick end of a billion quid and it looks like any other stadium. Mental.

Why? All the reports say it’s fantastic . It was 750m . 250m more is a massive exaggeration

It's going to be identikit on the inside because they just want to cram as many seats in as is humanly possible. They'll then keep ramping up the prices until they reach a ridiculous level as has been done at most PL clubs, especially those with new stadia.

Is it my eyes playing tricks or are the stands a bit steep?

From the article “The first thing you notice is the steep gradient of the stand - it is as steep as regulations allow, to keep the fans as close to the pitch as possible.” So I’m guessing it’s not a ground for those who dislike heights! I can remember seeing Town at Molyneux in the home end when Lever scored the and my dad, who was no fan of heights, got us tickets at the very back row. He spent most of the game gripping onto the seat in front as he’d only gone and bought the seats at the very top of the aisle too!

They've tried their best to become a trivia question but I still think it's touch-and-go as to whether Blundell Park is closer to the sea.

Apparently the whole thing is built on sand dredged out of the Irish sea, I wonder if the home ends might sink if there's not enough away fans to balance them out.....

You mean it has clear sight lines and steep banking so everyone can see no matter how short and are as  close to the pitch as possible which keeps the noise in and creates a great atmosphere. Truly horrific
I recently attended at the  Tottenham Stadium which is similar and it’s the second best ground I have been to .

Both are close to a river but I’m sure there must be a ground closer to the sea

I think Everton's new ground is nearer to the Mersey than Blundell Park is to the Freshney.
