Just nice to hear an interview with a footballer who can string a sentence together without any grunts, 'yeh....no's, footballers buzzwords, or blank looks.

Thought from the time he first interviewed after signing that he came across as a smart lad.

I initially assumed he’d come through the academy of a big club and had media training. He’s very measured in deliberate in what he says; he reminds me a bit of Carl Magnay who was also very comfortable in front of a microphone.

Magnay had of course come through at Chelsea, albeit via reality TV, so would have had that kind of training. Tharme hasn’t, to the best of my knowledge - think he’s just a smart kid, a rare commodity in football with all due respect.

Good talker and seems like a top bloke.

He's really benefited from being in a 3. He's free to head it and kick it, he seems like a decent organiser. He's the weakest of our centre half options and I'm not sure he'll be with us long term, but he's having a good run now.

Don't forget the Scousers who's sentences are littered with the word "Erm" throughout

Great bloke, exactly the sort of character clubs need in the dressing room. Really nice to hear someone talk about the club like that.
