So is anybody going to mention the second goal was offside then? Looking at the Sky view you could think it was a penalty but from that view Rose just hits the deck with very little help (in my opinion) but it hits his knee then finds its way back to Green(?) who is standing 1 yard off the pitch so isn’t he offside at that point by being off the pitch and no defenders being off the pitch too?

He's technically not offside as they have a player on the goal line. Any player that leaves the field is considered to be on the goal line/touch line. If he stepped a yard forward Green would of been offside.

Agree about the defender but he is still goalside of the keeper and you need two players goalside of you to be onside. However, it matters not as the officials deemed him onside so no matter whether he was or wasn’t, officially he was onside.

The lad's enthusiasm is great to see. My only gripe is him spelling a nickname that should clearly have two Ds with just the one. Until I heard him say it I assumed it was Hodo, as in Frodo (Baggins, of the Shire). Sort it out Hoddos!
