Match Day moments

Apologies if this is has already been discussed. I appreciate the production value of match Day moments was quite high but I really do miss some of that behind the scenes look, especially when we win.

Would anybody else just be happy with raw video being pumped out rather than a full blown edited piece of content if the social media team doesn't have the capacity do that?

I actually like watching Artells reaction on the touch line too as he's quite animated.

Yep, agree. Used to love it and think it’s a massive miss to be honest. Especially when we’re actually winning games.

Unfortunately I think the content coming out of the club has definitely become less and less recently.

Don’t think it’s a complaint but a legitimate comment. It is obvious that the quality of information and media videos has declined this season and pretty much all fans recognise that fact and hopefully it’s something the club will improve upon going forward.

Obviously we’d all have Liam back in a heartbeat. Just glad we had him to capture the moments that he did.

I am glad most agree, I am realistic though and do not expect us to employee somebody to do that full time! And definitely not moaning as I know behind the scenes the club will be aware of this kind of thing

We’re just at the level where our media & comms roles are seen as entry level or stepping stone jobs on the way to bigger and better things.

I can almost guarantee that the sheer number of hours somebody like Liam would have put in to create what he did would have pushed him to, or under, minimum wage. That’s not a slight at the club, more an appreciation of Liam’s effort and dedication, which obviously ultimately paid off for him.

The media industry is completely rubbish for this kind of thing, but to get anywhere you do have to put in some hard graft for little money. (Some would say rightly so, for the chance to get to watch and write about football for a job!)

Maybe young Marinerhodo could conjure something up, which might even lead to future employment.

No worries pal! I kind of got what you meant to be fair but I have thought this a while. Plus like everyone else says, it's a bit of a juggling act of high quality output and the club using money for those skills.

I think some raw short videos would be fine from a go pro or something. I am not sure what other clubs do, so not sure what the bar is. I just think younger fans want to see stuff on youtube/tiktok and if that content isn't there then we won't engage with them as well? I could be chatting balderdash I don't know
