Can't be many players in the league who put in as much work as Rose. His sheer workrate probably makes him more effective than his footballing ability should really allow and I'm pleased he's going to be with us next season.

He is so determined and very quick in chasing down players to get the ball. I am always surprised that a) he wants to put the effort in and b) he gets to the ball.

I think I might have posted this before but on one of the many occasions my wife has caught me drooling over Rose’s output, I did a crude poll of tails, no tails and has-a-tail-but-likes-tails on his attractiveness.

The no tails and tailphiles weren’t that moved by Danny.

It’s the hairy arşed tails that appear to think he’s séx on legs (albeit legs that crumble on the merest of contact).

I don’t know if us tails covet his permatan or stunning turkey teeth but Ben White doesn’t make me drool in the same way.

Maybe it’s because Danny’s from Barnsley.

Makes you think, as Matt Le Tiss would tinfoil.

Right towards the end he was near the halfway line and sprinted 30 yards to close down the defender and keeper, incredible effort, what a guy.
