Great interview with him on Mariners TV. Comes across as a really top bloke. Down to earth, humble and honest. Some interesting comments about what it’s like to play at Blundell Park as an away player (“It’s ‘orrible!”). He’s a legend in the making.

Unbelievable improvement shown in the last year. He clearly puts the effort in off the pitch as well as during the games. Some of the things he does now are technically fantastic, just couldn't ever imagine saying, or writing, that a while back.

His determination to try and get his shot away second half when rampaging through the middle was something to behold, 100% commitment, superb. Him and Rose, and a few others, really do leave everything out there, can't ask for more than that.

Everyone in the picture as well which underlines what Rose was talking about on RH.

Artell & Kieran Green have improved Kieran Green significantly. I know that sounds like an odd turn of phrase but a player has to want to improve & a manager has to believe in the player.
