Become new Head Coach at Hartlepool replacing Lennie Lawrence who takes a more role upstairs.

Good luck Anthony, always liked him and had a chance in management

At his age, you'd hope they'd let him work on the ground floor

Best of luck to him. IMO him and Mitch Rose were the only reason we staved off relegation that season. Always thought Jolley was playing at it. I know that’s not going to go down well on here.

Let's not forget Harry Cardwell's channelling of his inner Jack Lester and falling down within sight of the penalty area.

Always liked Limbrick, absolutely shat on by the club and to our detriment in my opinion.

The stories he could tell eh? He won't though, as he's a thoroughly decent guy in a murky industry. Deserves 'fair dinkum'.

Hope it works out well for him, always liked Limbrick - best of luck! He's a really good coach, a totally decent and lovely bloke who was treated appallingly here, completely scandalous what we did to him in my opinion.

We saw the difference after he left, obviously not all down to him of course, but think it's underestimated how much of the heavy lifting he'd been doing for a while.. If he's here after we come back from Covid, our trip back to NL is less likely in my opinion.

Blöody oath cobber, as Croxton said, fair dinkum. I was told he applied for the job when PH left. Nothing against DA but I think he’d have been a good appointment. Maybe Jason was concerned about the ‘Limpdîck’ shouts on the Fishy whenever we lost a game.

Just had a look at the Conference to see how Hartlepool are doing.  Not in the best form but touching distance of the top 7, few games played than others though.

Halifax in 7th have played SIX games less than leaders Barnet.  They win all of those and they go within 3 points of them.  How the hell can you be that many games behind someone at this stage of the season...oh, yeah I remember the annual conundrum of knowing we'll have to shoe-horn in a Saturday-Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday for a couple of weeks at the back end of the season.

He's been on a few podcasts where he's spoke only highly of the fans here, wouldn't be a shock to see him end up back here sometime.
