Doesn't matter how many times I've watched it or from what angle and definitely not taking away from Rose's quick thinking, but the 'keeper has had a bloody mare there.

In over 50 years of watching and playing footy, I thought I had seen every type of goal imaginable, but that's a new one.

He’s not covered himself in glory, but of all the many “random” things goalkeepers train for nowadays, I can’t imagine any training still incorporating an effort like that.

The level of genius shouldn’t be underestimated or detracted from, imo.

I completely agree, it's pure opportunism at its finest.

But Michael Cheek does that at the other end and I'm fuming at Jordan Wright for grasping thin air.

I'm classing that as an overhead kick, to be honest he was actually in a decent place to try that as if the defenders had tried to win the ball it would have meant they'd have made contact with him and it would be a penalty, providing the ref saw it and gave it of course.

That angle shows he lifts the ball with both feet but then kicks it home which is where the power that spooned up off the keeper, even better technically than originally thought

It's the Pilates rollover while gripping the ball, surprised DA didn't mention that they've been practising them recently...

I quite like watching the younger women do it in the Pilates class I go to, but if I get spotted doing that I could get expelled...

I expect it will become commonplace now - like the reverse sweep in cricket - so Danny is the Mushtaq Mohammed of football...
