I assume it would be mid 60s my father got a job with united friendly insurance company and he occasionally took me on his round on the back of c90 motor bike and I remember him introducing me to former goal keeper and i recall him telling me about a fluke goal he scored kicking the ball the full length of the pitch anyone got a clue who this may have been.it must have been wind assisted due to the weight of the medicine balls they played with in those days

I remember Malcolm White so not totally surprised he was “deceived”. Took over from  Barnett for a while and then along came Charlie Wright. What a difference!!

I saw Tom Daley, who had previously played for Town when Bill Shankly was
manager, score when playing in a Sunday league game on Bradley United's pitch.
