More of an heads up really, temps due to drop to -5 Friday night, and not get much above freezing rest of this week, so for those thinking of travelling over for Saturday, I'd keep a close eye on the forecast, and also the club website for pitch updates.

Forecast to be above zero for a good 30 or so hours prior to kick-off, minus 2 the worst tomorrow morning early on according to BBC.  Be disappointed if it was off because of frozen pitch.  What I would imagine is a going concern would be the high water levels, suggesting that any thawing frost might struggle to drain away.

Convinced that the various weather providers just cover all the bases between them so at least one will be right at some point.

Think they tell you the worst case scenario most cases, such as the snow forecast last weekend onwards. I’d think Saturday will go ahead, however the early kick off may be a factor if there is frost.

Biggest issue will be how quickly they've got the frost covers on. The sun doesn't get high enough this time of the year to have much impact on the Smiths Stand side of the ground and there's -3 forecast tonight and tomorrow.

Our groundsman Saturday expects our game to be on and that's semi pro level so i'd expect Town to be on.

Reckon our pitch could be like a ploughed spud field by the end of March.

You are all amateurs. What I do is put the goldfish bowl out first thing on the morning of the match and feed it 1 hour before kick off. If there is no movement the match will be OFF.
