Does anyone know if we had a sell on clause with Leicester when we sold Ben Grist to them back in 2021?

No idea but he’s about 20 now so anyone know how he’s doing .. does he get in  the first team squad ? Has he made his full debut ?

He's had a couple of appearances off the bench in the EFL trophy with the Under 21's if you want to count that as a professional debut. Doesn't even play every game for their Under 21's side right now so probably prime candidate for release and any clause we had going straight out the window. He played a lot at U18's level for them but doesn't seem to have kicked on to a level in his development where he's ever going to be pushing for a first team place. Unless they cash in during the next window we probably won't get any sell on as I doubt they are offering him a new contract.

Didn't he go for something like £150k? The sell on is often a percentage of profit and it seems unlikely someone will offer more than we got if he can't nail down a place in the U21s.

Perhaps he'll move to Rotherham if he gets released by Leicester? Grist to the Mill(ers).
