Personally I think it's changed massively for the worst.
Your go.

Whilst I don’t partake in the game, I think there has been progress in the organisation of safe spaces for people to operate.

It’s easier to report abuse and the Dutch and Germans have done a lot of work to support the profession, in the form of safe spaces and sēxual health.

Absolutely changed for the worst for me and many others I know. The days of a crashing tackle ie, Bobby Cummings, Cockerill and Cunnington, winning the ball cleanly and giving it to players who can play, ie Waters, Gilbert, Childs etc, I would love for them days to come back, sadly I don't think it'll happen. I used to love going to BP for a game and look forward to it all week, I've been to one game this year, Doncaster at home, just can't into the game these days and really don't get excited by football In general anymore, something I thought I'd never say. ....sadly.

Definitely changed for the worse, all seater stadiums killed the atmosphere no tackling any more players not as good.

Diving. Feigning injury. Prima Donnas. Too f'in soft in my eyes.

'I walked in the dressing room. The window was open and I thought that a sea fret had got in. Then I saw smoke billowing from a pipe in the corner of the room...it was my centre-forward. He looked seven stone wet through. He went on to score thirty-odd goals that season.' Lawrie McMenemy on encountering the legend that was Matt Tees.

The dark arts need a serious dose of looking at, players go down so easily it may even be classed as cheating.

I was having the same conversation the other day with a mate. I think now footballers are seen as walking £50 notes and are assets.

When you watch the old premier league derbys on sky sports or cup finals from before 2005 the games between Arsenal v United where players are going in hard, theres passion and kick offs and I do miss that.
