Accy win on pens. If we had any excuses ahead of Tuesday night, they’ve gone now. We go into this at home, fresher, and having had nothing but this game against a side with the second worst away record in the division to concentrate on for a week-and-a-half.

You couldn’t ask for a kinder fixture to break our horrendous run at home, but ultimately it’s up to the management and players to make sure we don’t fúck it up.

I'm really surprised the FA Cup purists haven't kicked up a fuss about the FA Cup 3rd Round date being pushed back a week. Maybe they have and I just missed it. The last 10 times (1958, 1964, 1969, 1975, 1986, 1992, 1997, 2003, 2014 & 2020) that the 4th January has fallen on a Saturday it's been FA Cup 3rd Round day.

The FA Cup 3rd Round has been the Saturday between 3rd & 9th January for years & years.
