Yeah great look at greenys assist and it really is a ridiculously good cross - which alien has kidnapped the real Greeny and replaced him with RoboGreen?!
World class assist from Green. De Bruyne does that and everyone goes mad, that clip needs to be seen.
"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"
John Tondeur - Wembley Stadium Sunday 15th May 2016
Greeny is repeatedly proving me wrong and I absolutely love it.
Even when he signed a new deal, I still thought "is 3 years too long, would 2 have been better? Is he a long term option?". Every time, Greeny seems to smash the criticism away. He's gone from bench warmer optional to being unable to stay out of a starting line up. Davies is going to have a hard time displacing him and it's awesome to see.
It just goes to show, footballers are human and with hard work and dedication, they can end up turning things around. I'm actually excited for what he'll do next game. This purple patch is ridiculous.

So, it's okay for you to criticise Kieran Green for 2 years? But it's not okay for me to question the quality of any of our players now?

Oh you're still on one about that? Part of me doesn't want to bother responding as you're clearly looking for a dig, but I'll give reasoning anyway.
Long contracts are risky, so are short ones. With short ones, you lose players for no money, long ones, and players may either take it easy, or you progress to the point where they're no longer a starter. If you give a 3 year contract on first team starting wages, and they're no longer in the starting line up, you're limited funds wise for other positions. Probably Alex Hunt was a good example of this. Many bemoan Vernam's contract length for example. League 2 clubs have very limited money. It's not insane to be concerned if we stretch our selves thin, now and in the future. Green is clearly a starter now. Next year, would it be Davies, McEacheren and Khouri? Who knows. What if he falls down the pecking order further as we strengthen for promotion or end up league 1?
I think Green has earned a new deal, but 3 year deals in League 2 football is risky and it's not unreasonable to make that point.
Of course, there is a difference between highlighting a risk in business decisions, and creating a whole post about how bad we are when objectively we're doing well, so yeah no, you're looking for an angle, and you've got nothing.
I already said I was going to leave this, I had my tongue in cheek comment, and it's was pretty funny. However, you seem keen on this being personal. Leave this in the past and move on.

It was a joke. Chill. If you've taken it personally that's not my fault. Maybe accept that people have the right to differing opinions and you shouldn't make snarky comments (your post after the Wimbledon victory about me) targeting a fellow Fishy user who (to my knowledge/memory) you hadn't had an interaction with before. You didn't rate Green- that's fine. I don't rate McJannet highly (although apart from the free kick incident where Artell was jumping up and down on the touchline he had a good game at Wimbledon)- that's fine too.
And contract lengths mean very little in football. If a player really wants to leave he leaves. If a club really wants a player to move on they move on. All contracts do is offer both sides short term security.
And life is full of risks. You buy anything (Dishwasher, TV, Car...) and it could break down the day after the warranty has expired. That's life. Football players are no different. Getting players to a high level of fitness means you are pushing them to the limit- sometimes beyond the limit and they break down. That's life.
