Pleased for Limbrick, he’s a good guy and hard-working. Didn’t get the credit he deserved for getting the best out of Charles Vernam and for our general form pre-Covid when that nobhead was in charge. And it was no coincidence that the wheels fell off after he left, exposing what a charlatan of a manager Holloway is.

I remember some half witted Teesside goon coming on here and mouthing about how we were their ‘feeder club’ because they pinched a signing or two and were temporarily above us the league pyramid at the time (that’s not aged well).
I’m reminded of the irony of that, looking at that picture.

Will be forever grateful to Lennie Lawrence for that night in Liverpool, crazy to think that was 23 years ago! Would’ve been interesting to see how we got on in division one with him in charge if it weren’t for the ITV digital mess and us spunking what budget we did have on expensive foreign players.
