Again.
We get through them don't we?
Has the latest one gone on to bigger and better things? Seemed a bit low key compared to the others.

Let's hope the new incumbent remembers to thank all the fans who travel to away games and gives us their number.
The current one does not do this, whereas his predecessor did.

To be fair, I don't think it's the sort of role that you stay in for years on end. Given the nature of the job, most would move on after 18 months or so as I expect the constant need for new content with the same materials can get wearying. The last one doesn't seem to have lasted two minutes though.

Just to stick my nose in as someone who works in the industry, our media manager position will always be an early career opportunity for somebody wanting to build a career in sports comms.
It’s ideal for someone who has been a media assistant as part of a larger team and wants to take on more responsibilities – a second job out of uni kind of role, with the off-chance of a new graduate being considered if they are particularly impressive.
Sports comms is very competitive, with a lot of turnover across the board. A bit like players, young media professionals want to work their way up the pyramid (in this and/or other sports) as quick as possible, so they will come and go. It’s not necessarily a bad thing.

The last thing we need on this forum is reasoned posting by someone with knowledge of the subject can you please redeem yourself by saying something about scotch eggs.

You'd expect it to be. It's an entry level position. the turnover in these roles are always like this within any company.

Telegraph used to have GTFC reporters that lasted a while, they didnt have a problem with turnover so whats different here.
Are they recruiting the wrong people or is the club not doing enough to hold onto the right people.
Personally I'd be happy if John Moore did it all.

Thanks for the insight into that side of life I'll leave my CV where it is , in the bin and crack on the rest of my days in the warehouse. Saturday afternoon in the Upper Findus is good enough for me !! UTM

What's different here? Erm, absolutely nothing apart from the fact that it's a completely different company and a completely different role.

It's a media job centred on Town, not many of those about either now or in the past. Technology has changed the way fans consume the news, that's all, but its still media-trained professionals delivering the content. I'd say they're fishing in the same pond for the same type of people from the same type of places.
