Maybe it's that they're here for the whole season?

They can be here all season but if you are not fit to play what's the point

Because they only have minor injuries according to everything we’ve heard. The season is long old one.

Flip it around, they sign and play then get an injury that keeps them out a week or two - do we then consider that a waste? Course we don’t.

The current injury problem could have actually worked in our favour with their clubs NOT wanting to sign injured players and wanting immediate competition for their teams.

Are we paying their full wages from signing date , or from first injury free time?

I think they've both had a reasonable pre-season, so they won't be far behind in terms of fitness. We aren't called Davies a waste of a signing on the basis that he got injured in his second start, so why are these two treated differently because they arrived here recovering from a minor injury?

I think we need players now in team not a couple of months down the line the club know they were injured when we signed them it is three weeks now not one single minute played but i wonder how much this has cost us in wages ?

Both Luker & Obikwu, according to DA could both have gone to other clubs, I believe higher up the pyramid, was mentioned - but those clubs weren't prepared to wait for their short injuries to recover... so we profited from this, as we were

+ Obikwu apparently enjoyed his time here last season & DA rates him - so hopefully he will kick on again
