Apologies if covered elsewhere.

Any update as to when Thompson, Davies, Luker and Obikwu are fit?

Artell said (Humberside, last night) all injured players are about 2 weeks away. Davies the obvious exception who is doing the first phase of his recovery at Wrexham and will only be back here for the last month or so.

It will be interesting to see what Luker offers. Wide attacking player, I think they said, so an option to offer some competition for Vernam and JDS?

We could really do with Thompson back in the team. I'd imagine it would lead to McEachran playing a bit further forward. Who to drop, though? Green is the one adding some physicality and Khouri has played pretty well. It will be interesting to see how things change around when he's back.

Whilst I think Hume has improved in recent weeks and we've still to see an awful lot of Carson, I wonder how much of a temptation is there for Artell to move Khouri back to left-back.

Only moved into his more natural midfield when a lack of options dictated so. He's done very well in there and I think it's what he has needed. But Thompson coming back in would allow, as you say, McEachran to move further forward but I don't think he becomes a direct goal threat there either, more just influencing play from a more attacking position. That means Green has to stay in the side as he's the only one from the middle of the park offering a threat at goal.

Hume was dire yesterday, by far his worst game for us.

Whilst I agree he didn't have the best of games he got very little support from Vernam who at times hung him out to dry. We are starting to see Vernam as a decent attacking threat but is often lazy in doing his defensive duties. Maybe the price yu have to pay but I wouldn't be so quick to label all the blame on Hume.

We’re in dire need of someone to play further forward in the number 10 role, would that be George when Thompson is fit?

Is that what he said? If he’s not going to be back until March/April next year, is it worth keeping him, or just end the loan?

He means the last month of injury rehab, expected to be out until late October/early November

Aaahh, that’s much better. I thought end the season couldn’t be right, but I haven’t heard anything on the injury front. Cheers for that.
