Nice booing from them for our national anthem.

Come on England.

Substitutes: Lewis, Stones, Gallagher, Livramento, Henderson, Konsa, Gibbs-White, Gomes, Bowen, Eze, Pope, Madueke.

Get in 0-1 Declan Rice.

Didn't know he had played for Ireland.

After watching the ref in towns game, who allowed tackles, contact etc to seeing the ref in Englands game who is allowing nothing, you would not think they had both had the same training.

First half saw some good play and we should perhaps have scored another one or two.

I found the second half dreadful, turgid stuff. It's as though we just dialled it down to about 60% effort.

TAA still isn't an international full-back.

If you were Irish you would boo as well.

Look up the history of us in Ireland.

Not booing our players or fans more like the government and the land owners.

The England rugby team played Ireland at the National GAA stadium Croke Park when the Aviva was being rebuilt. This had massive historical significance; in 1920 the  Black and Tans entered the stadium with an armoured car and shot 14 fans and wounded many. Rugby was considered a “foreign game” in many parts of Ireland - as it’s what British Army played in Ireland in the garrison towns. Potentially, there couldn’t be anything more inflammatory to Irish nationalist history than England playing a rugby game at Croke. And guess what, you could have heard pin drop as the band prepared to play the National Anthem, the Irish stood completely silent and let the England fans and players sing, at the end there was massive applause. It was actually a very moving moment.

I was surprised the anthem was booed so loudly, I think it was more to do with some of the dickheads that follow  RoI and Celtic.
