Good Interview, top bloke, like what he was saying about small improvements can have a big impact. Converting 7 or 8 draws to wins would have seen us comfortably mid table.

'' Incredibly, Grimsby scored the opening goal of the game inside the first half on 21 occasions last season - the same as Wrexham and Mansfield, who both won automatic promotion - but were continually pegged back. They won only 11 games in total ''

Cracking lad Shaun! Future manager for sure.

"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

One stat that I was reminded of this morning was that Town have now gone 58 league games without back to back wins. That dates back to early 2023 only Shrewsbury (62) and Rotherham (77) are above us in that table but I’m sure it has nothing to do with Paul Hurst! Hopefully that’ll soon be rectified in the new season.

Tell you what, one of the nicest blokes I've ever come across and always got the time of day for anybody.
Regularly used to bump into him doing the food shop in big Tesco and always taking time for photos with kids and speaking to everyone just as a normal bloke.

From all accounts from people that have worked with him, an absolute pleasure and goes above and beyond to make people feel welcome and willing to learn from people at the same time.. I really do hope when Dave decides to call it a day we can slot Shaun straight into his seat.

I mean given he was our club captain and part of our leadership group for many years I can imagine he knows when to be nice and when it’s time to get serious

Would have loved for Neil Woods to have been a success as manager. A good heart which Iam glad the club has kept on as academy manager.

One life,one love .
