When Leeds trainer Les Cocker was once told Norman Hunter had broken a leg, he asked: “Whose is it?”

The computer is only confirming what you already know.
Our beloved club is yet again failing to recognise it's own shortcomings. First and foremost is it's failings in team development. In league 2 you also need experienced players with a bit of quality  just to survive. You also need the numbers in your squad as older experienced players tend to lose a bit of the season on the injury list. Most of the succesful clubs in the past have a healthy amount of quality reserves to compensate for that eventuallity. To compete it is going to cost and that is were investment comes in. We need investers! The new owners promised them but have failed up to now delivering that promise. Without investment we will be a bottom of league 2 side struggling to survive year in year out, which will be a shame after coming out of non league with a lot of promises for a brighter future.

I don't think we are going to have a particularly good season but I'm taking this "supercomputer" with a pinch of salt. First off, when was the last time a team went straight back down to the conference? So I think they're already wrong about Bromley. I also think Accrington, Morecambe and Fleetwood are all basketcase clubs and will finish below us.

Think Horizon. Just because it’s a computer doesn’t mean it’s right.

Bromley will do alright and be a pain to play against - look at Sutton and even us to a degree (yes i know we have a big fanbase in this league but are serial strugglers ).First season always do ok to well and then once the team is broken up/found out the struggle starts unless you have the capital to push on .

Bromley should be looking at season 2 already .

I see  a group of about 8 teams who we are competing with - Newport , Harrogate , Morecambe , Cheltenham , Fleetwood , Barrow , Bromley and Salford potentially . Some of the other squads look way beyond us .

If we can recruit 2 or 3 extreme high quality loans like Swindon did last time out my thinking might change , as we saw with them it made a massive difference until they got recalled . If we go for 18 year old kids i will be happy with 18th and continuos implementation of Artell ball providing we are not losing by 5 and 6 every other week at home .

I usually laugh off supercomputer predictions but just out of interest have taken a screenshot of this, and let's have a look next May how it fared. Their predictions sounds ridiculous to me as most teams haven't even completed their squads yet but let's see.

You do know that you can't force people to invest in the club, right?

A 'supercomputer' from a fricking online gambling outfit makes predictions? What they mean is, 'This is what punters are sticking their money on', or more precisely, 'Place bets with us, please!'

Absolute flipping nonsense with no teams yet finished with their transfer business. It's almost embarrassing that there's a thread talking about it.
