I've just had a look at the L2 squads on wiki.

You might be surprised to learn that we are 'mid table' in terms of the squad numbers, and most seem to have c3 youngsters , just like us. There are 12 teams who have squads of 21-23 players, whilst Barrow have only 20 players, and Salford just 16 are signed on
Therefore I would surmise that we are in a similar situation to most other clubs i.e. there's a few holes still to be filled, so perhaps we should just relax a little?

If this is the case, there must be a rake of (hopefully good) players currently not fixed up.

Yes...but...but...ours are all SH*T!...some of them only have one leg....2 of them are 63 years old.....one of them has just been born...none of them played for Brazil in 1970....Danny Rose is going to Juventus...we're all doomed.

Some of our managers in the past have aimed for small squads.

This is fine until you get injuries, suspensions and loss of form in the same key areas.  False economy.

To add:  Liverpool had most CB’s injured recently.  They struggled.

Not fussed where other clubs are .I know we are well short of a competitive squad .That's all town fans should be worried about .
