In a few years time we'll have a fair few more vanity projects of ridiculously wealthy US backers with no connection to English football culture. Be a league of playthings for the internationally rich and a franchise circus.

they are joining Aylesbury United's division next season, having got promotion, although they hardly ran away with it, from the Spartan South Midland Premier!

Aylesbury's playing budget is about £20,000 p.a. by way of comparison

In fairness, it's kinda worked out at Crawley this season. Many, including myself, had them nailed on for relegation this year.

Long term though, they're copulated.
