Met Trevor in the late 90’s when he was involved with Ipswich corporate hospitality (Ipswich v Coventry premiership game)

Like a real saddo I went up to him and said “Trevor, I’m a Grimsby Town fan and must shake your hand, I’ll never forget that home game v Chelsea” and he said something along the lines of what a great game it was and we won 2-0, and he always looked out for the Mariners results

Lovely guy, and one of the classiest players to ever wear the shirt

I wish him well

We met him at a home game against Chester when he was a guest about nine years ago. Talked about the Chelsea game and other things. What a really nice bloke and he posed with us for photos. So modest.

What a shame. Dementia is an awful disease. I did a lot of caring for my dad who had it.  It is heartbreaking.

Best player I've ever seen at Town. I wish him and his family all the very best.
