I went past the training ground yesterday and saw the pitch nearest the road had been taken up. It looks like they are trying to improve the surface again.

Have been reliably informed that one pitch is to be repurposed over the summer to grow scotch eggs.

Lies. Protected Geographical Indiction laws dictate scotch eggs can only be grown in Scotland.

Ridiculous. Everyone knows you need to plant scotch eggs in March if you want a decent harvest at the start of next season.

That was pre-Brexit mate. 😉

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

Traditional scotch eggs are a by-product of haggis breeding, most modern ones are grown in polytunnels though due to economies of scale
