Needed that with Dagenham breathing down our necks.

Delighted with the win but I have to say we were pretty poor throughout. Great goal by McAtee, a well-worked set piece and that proved enough, despite the fact that Jones must have had one of the worst home debuts in living memory and Holohan wasn't much better.

Helped by their tactical retreat in the second half as they barely tried to attack until they fell behind and they cracked despite not being under a huge amount of pressure. Hopefully, they'll end up topping the table as I wouldn't fancy having to play them in the play-offs.

1 man team today…without McAtee who wasn’t at it best we were just an average non league team. Great result but Hurst needs to sort the midfield out because on today’s showing we are not winning the play offs.

Spot on, couldn't agree more.
Scannell mom for me.
Great results, can't wait for Monday to come UTM

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

Sat in my hospital bed following the game.

It always makes me laugh when we fall behind and all the negative comments come out.

Then we score and we are suddenly brilliant .

Must admit the first half we were poor but the sending off changed the game.

Stockport will go up as champions and if we can get our form together like at chesterfield and the 2nd half today we have a very good chance of going up via the play offs.

Keep the faith.
