P&O gave effectively transferred the undertaking to a new organisation. TUPE therefore applies. The P&O employees should have transferred with the work. Or has TUPE been cancelled since Brexit? People probably forgot about it due to the Downing Street Covid party's, Boris Johnson's subsequent set of lies denying anything ever took place, continuing police investigation and calls for Boris Johnson to resign, which was probably also forgot about because of the invasion of Ukraine. I shouldn't laugh, because it's obscene what the Tories are doing, but their incompetence is getting to the point of absurdity and there is no other way to view them than as an utter joke and a parody of a party that has any idea what they are doing other than wreaking havoc and lining their pockets. It's astonishing that he and they have survived this long.
