Since they last won the title in 2003, all but Burnley have spent time in the third tier, and even Burnley spent 10 of those seasons in the Championship. I can see how underinvestment might see the Gooners cut adrift from the traditional big clubs and more recent big spenders, but clearly this shouldn’t have happened. A disastrous decision in hindsight. Forest may lose out on a near certain play-off place if they keep shipping goals at home.  And/or Swansea keep scoring away.  Swansea have scored more goals if their GD is the same.
