Listen to 'the voice of Blundell Park' singing and playing the drums at Muckie Muldoons fortnightly.
Sometimes he speaks to me.
P.A. announcer.

Going down a narrow road a good few years back playing my rolling stones cassette,

A big 4x4 came the other way and pulled over to let me pass,

When I got level I said thank you and to my surprise the other driver was Bill Wyman.

I said I have got your cassette on Bill

He did not speak but gave me a nice smile.

He has a large mansion a few miles from my home.

Clever Bill bought it in the 60's for £66,000 and its worth £2-3 million now.

I sold Andre Kanchelskis an X Box and Nick Barnby various bits on his numerous visits to the shop I ran. Barnby seemed like a really nice lad who’d always have a bit of a chat.

Sold John Gregory loads of stuff and got chatting to him and he was a massive Springsteen fan.

Over the years running big stores I’ve met lots of local pro players in the Towns and Cities I’ve worked in, pretty much all of them where relatively polite & average.

Bumped into Phil Neville last year at Marble Arch tube station

Away from football recently met Jonathan Davis and he was a miserable sod and Mal Maninga who was bloody brilliant,  Greg Rutherford who was really friendly.

Had dinner with Richard Branson and his dad, and a group of us as part of an award I won at work and over the years a few minor celebs.

Doesn’t really make the criteria of “who you have met” but.....

I came down to breakfast one morning at home and found 15 specimen bottles full of urine taken from the great team of the 80s, We’re talking Nigel batch, Joe waters, Dean Crombie, my hero Bobby Cummins etc
I have to point out that my dad was the club doctor at the time and was doing a annual test, still one of the greatest days of my life

Are we any closer to getting promoted since Hurst has been here? No

Has he been given time to achieve promotion by the chairman and fans? Yes

Hurst out

Go on then.......was your dad taking the urine?

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

1993 got VIP tickets to a U2 concert at Roundhay Park Leeds sat next to a blonde, so pretty turns out it was Malandra Burrows, she was with Peter Levy, didn't really pay attention because I was sat behind a ginger haired scot then Leeds and Scotland captain Gordon Strachan. Muvh more interesting than the blonde then went to meet Bono and the rest. Actually they waved from their helicopter. Then spent 4 hours trying to leave the car park.
