Stadium there or not, Freeman Street needs regenerating.
If the council go ahead with any new developments across the borough without a detailed plan of regeneration for Freeman Street, they should be ashamed and hung out to dry.
Note: Knocking down the flats and then commissioning endless feasibility studies does not constitute a regeneration plan.

I would like it to be Freeman St,
BUT
I fear we will be at Blundell Park until I pop my clogs,
And the same applies of course to those Town fans still in nappies.

Still waiting for the next announcement that was due in two weeks.......think that was in December.
Not too sure, but it may have been delayed whilst they build a skateboard ramp in Sheffield and the digger can't be in two places at once

| The wife was going away for a girly weekend. I jokingly remarked 'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football' 'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked She said 'Well you already know how to play football' |

Surely re-development of any area depends on who owns the Freehold to the assets you are proposing to re-develop and, if it's several people, then dependent on them all wanting the same outcome.

Same arguments regarding the stadium but having read nearly all the technical surveys PP is the only one that ticks most of the required boxes including transport. The upgrade to the road infrastructure for the other sites would cost the council too much. Most of the traffic is from the home supporters as there is only a few clubs which bring a lot of support. The amount of land for a community based stadium and additional facilities means that Freeman street is too small and the docks land will not be released as ABP have it earmarked for commercial expansion of its own strategies and income generation.
Anyway onto the topic - not sure Nigel would want the hassle of everyone having a go at him because they don’t agree with this or that!

The land is only deemed too small if the training, and community facilities together with the enabling developments are on the same site. It would be fine for a stadium and small business units together with parking. The training ground and community facilities could be elsewhere and say, the enabling housing development on PP

Give Nigel the job, he would be the stopgap that would stop Fenty from making more stupid suggestions/ comments. At the moment the board just say"great idea John" to everything he says, Nigel would be able to make Fenty's and the board stop and think first.

To be fair at Pete’s age it wouldn’t be a surprise if he was back in nappies.

As we have a vacancy for a chairman, does anyone else think he would do an excellent job.
Obviously wouldn't bring any financial backing but would definitely solve the club's PR problems.
Also has some very interesting views on the new stadium
Using that logic, why not sack Jolley and appoint me as manager? On second thoughts, maybe not!!
