"Falls to Arnold... Arnold! That's it! Thats it! He's sealed it! Grimsby Town are back in the football league!!! Just a minute to go and Nathan Arnold makes it 3-1! Look at the scenes behind the goal! Look at the relief! The agony is finally over!!!"

OK , how much did the Fishy regulars raise, to bribe 80 s Glory to never post again?  It seems a lot of money, but it was only equivalent to a penny a word, for his assessment of the Halifax away game.

Next season's playing budget based upon projected season ticket sales with Slade in charge..

RS promised he can build a promotion winning squad with it..

His squad will consist of one goalkeeper, one centre half, one two-footed full back who can play on both the right and left side at the same time, no central midfielders (no tactical need), a winger and only six forwards..

The amount taken on next seasons ST sale's

In his three stints as Grimsby Town manager spanning over 10 years the club was never relegated and he also guided them to three promotions.
Only 14 managers have reached 1,000 matches in charge of a Football League team by 1998 and Buckley is one of them.

planned increase of 10% has now been increased to 25% .

From the black and white striped shirts
To the fish in the sea

Coz we are Grimsby.

You won't hear us crying
But you'll hear us shout
Coz we are the Grimsby
And this is our chant.......... Grimsby! Grimsby! Grimsby!

The answer is the amount that Lincoln City had made in prize money and the TV fee alone, merely up to winning the semi-final of the Checkatrade Trophy. With even more to come from the final.

The answer is the amount that Lincoln City had made in prize money and the TV fee alone, merely up to winning the semi-final of the Checkatrade Trophy. With even more to come from the final.

Can you be persuaded to support them as their finances seem so important to you?

Just think if we had got that amount of money from any cup competition we could afford to pay Slade off.

Just think ..... if it wasnt for the 2 or 3 people on here bullying the rest of the entire town into not going to these games, the team may have actually won one of the games over the past couple of seasons and that money could have been ours, we could be sitting in the play offs with a team that scores goals and can win games.

I feel dirrrty that i may have now inadvertently helped Lincoln's recent success

But didn't Lincoln have to erm.... win some games and stuff to get that money?

How are we supposed to compete with that?

So what about Lincoln's prize money Sladeball couldn't manage to win a single game in the competition hence we got virtually no prize money.

I love the fact that Fenty voted for a format that would give us more money yet we've been so crap in the competition that we haven't reaped any benefits.

There's a wonderful irony there.

but despite not winning a game, having virtually no gate income we still made money from the competition somehow ...according to JF & Co.

They could win a bijillion pound for all I care they have sold their souls to Shaun Harvey and when he comes calling for Premier under 23's to enter the league they'll cosy on up to him and agree because they have the breaking strain of a kit kat.

Can't blame him really - unlike us Lincoln have shown they can beat the Premier U23s

I don't want them in the league but I wish we were in the final of the cup thingy - a lot of jealousy around I suggest.

Jealous that they are moving in the right direction with forward a thinking owner and managers. Not jealous that they're in the final of a farcical competition. Had we got to the final there's no way I'd have gone.

I'm not jealous, this checkatwat trophy is corrupt and I want no part of it, is that what Fenty has told you to say
