PH has his faults but he is the GTFC manager and until such time as he isn't then I will support him. I might not agree with his decisions but he is better placed to make those than I am. Too many on here think they know better but with no background or credentials to back that up. As an example there is a guy who sits in front of me in the Upper Findus who thinks that every winger should just position himself at the half-way line and wait for the ball to come to him - no defensive duties , just take on the opposing full-back when the ball  is punted forward!! If that is the level of football knowledge in the average fan then God help us !!!


So if a Town manager was to take us on several relegation seasons you would still support him and not question his position ?
If a Town manager was to take us on several failed promotion seasons continuing to make the same mistakes you would still not question his position ?

Sounds like your in the tinted brigade to me

I never said I wouldn't question his position ( that is for The Board to do ) but I would still support him until he was relieved of his duties. I'm fairly sure that any manager who " acquired " several relegations at the same club would be sacked. As for being in the " tinted brigade " I don't see that. I will question PH's decisions and tactics where necessary and I'm not blind to the fact that he might not be the best manager for us but until he goes then he is our manager. It's a very subjective argument as to who is the best manager though as nobody comes with guarantees. I'm fairly sure that if you was to do a poll on here as to who the fans wanted as manager then I would imagine at least 8 names would come up , which is itself subjective.

I think you'll find that Monkhouse does help out in defensive duties which is not what the guy mentioned wants. He wants BOTH wingers on the half-way line when we are defending corners and free kicks as well as the strikers !
