Its so nice to have competitive football back and this week is going to drag so hard.

If he's a good player I'm going to want to watch his team. It's odd how much some people care about the wages of other people. Jealousy I presume.

As BigChris stated, lots of foreigners and in a few minutes i saw a player writhing around on the floor, before jumping up and sprinting away, a player arguing the toss with the ref, when the ref was spot on and to top it all off, lot's of Mcdonalds ads in partnership with the F.A. trumpeting their alliance and their great efforts toward community football. Yeah right. Quickly turned it off.

Not so much jealousy, as incredulity that the game is now so lop sided, with little used foreign imports earning millions a year, whilst traditional clubs such as ourselves struggle to survive. It's all wrong.

Not worth moaning about, whatever your opinion about play acting etc the fact is they are better than the english players, especially in the top flight. The charity shield wasn't too exciting but nobody expected anything other than that. BT is great if you like football in general, whether it's worth the money, I'm not sure but then is anything? 'the poor and the needy are selfish and greedy'...well done Mozza

Won't have SKY in the house as Murdoch owns it, therefore I don't watch live football at all unless it's on BBC or ITV - and that's a rarity for me. Still watch MOTD, but they could do with sacking the "pundits" and getting more match action in, and cutting down on numerous action replays from different angles for the same reason. On the terraces every week though. I need to be at a game to enjoy it, Luddite that I am. No attempt at ethical or social seduction can eradicate from my heart a deep burning hatred of the Tory party. So far as I'm concerned they're lower than vermin. Aneurin Bevan.
