Just seen this thread on the Brovers forum:

http://gaschat.co.uk/thread/3305/atmosphere-generation-balloonfest

I'm not saying we should emulate any of the ideas in there but is anyone doing anything outside the norm (flags, balloons, inflatables etc) to help liven up the crowd. Is it even needed?

If anyone gives me my beachball back from Alfreton I'll take that!!  Last seen floating over the away stand. It's blue red and white.

The wife was going away for a girly weekend.
I jokingly remarked  'I don't know whether to spend it watching porn or watching football'
'you may as well spend it watching porn' she replied
That's understanding darling what makes you say that? I asked

She said 'Well you already know how to play football'

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Black-Balloons-Bag-Of-100/dp/B000WNH652 - Black Baloons there. Bag of 100 for 5 pound.

Cambridge fans last year took yellow pages into the ground and used it as confetti. Why don't we take a load of old newspapers and use it as confetti. Bog roll is another decent idea. Obviously flags and scarves

Haha I'm sure if you committed to buying 100 black balloons GF, someone else would commit to buying 100 white.

Should commit to black and red balloons anyway as there'll be enough white ones blowing over from their section.

That's a hell of a waste of drinking time.

I've blown up 57 balloons so far.

Newspaper confetti would look ace if we had enough people to have sets in the upper tier.

Through the door there came familiar laughter,
I saw your face and heard you call my name.
Oh my friend we're older but no wiser,
For in our hearts the dreams are still the same.

Might take a load of torn up newspaper for confetti.

I have bought 500 black and 500 white balloons for Sunday. In hindsight I should have inflated them when I got to London. Not sure how I am going to get them on the train...

As an aside , Leicester have given out free clappers (concertina'd card) in there last 3 home games to the whole crowd and it has created an amazing atmosphere, and clearly worked!!!

The problem is that they cost 30p each so 10,000 would be £3k for the club to splash out

I'll save them 30p by not having one to make it a bit more affordable.

It's getting them through the turnstile at Wembley that'll be the tricky bit!

I used to raid the office shredder machine at work.
Shred load of paper this week and take a few bag fulls.
Pass it round and get everyone to grab a hand full 😉

Easy made confetti!! UTM
