The most salient point is that you can get a fixture backlog based on other team's runs in cup competitions. We have already had two games postponed because of other teams participation in the FA cup. Once the bad weather kicks in the chances of backlog builds even more. Last season postponed games due to weather contributed significantly to our backlog

Just checked the Radio Times, can't seem to find the programme, "FA Trophy Second Round Draw". ....join us live from FA HQ for the exciting drawn out, tedium, where grown men get to rummage inside a couple of velvet bags to fish out some little balls.

| I remember being pelted with ice by the Norwich fans during the Milk Cup match, do you? |

Also why can't a profesional football team play 2 games a Week and Win in a Mostly part Time League / Cup ?? . I also see 34% on the Poll want us to win the Trophy .

Champions League draw is coming up on Sky Sports News, I assume it'll be part of that?

True but at least you've got a chance of having a free slot if you're not in it. If you are in it then it will wipe out league fixtures. The big clubs getting knocked out means more chance of drawing a tinpot output for which the few quid at stake actually means something and will won't agree to dropping a replay. Don't talk yourself into the idea that the FAT is worth bothering with. It's not.

According to Sunday's NLP, they are the only team in the top 8 levels of English football, still unbeaten in the league. They are not actually top of their league at the minute but do have 6 games in hand on the leaders Mertsham and are only 1 point behind them.
