Who thinks the cup run is a welcolme distraction from the league?

Every league game between now and the end of the season is going to add more pressure. I've noticed that the atmosphere at home games recently has become more and more tense. At least with the thoughts of Wembley looming the players and fans have something to distract from the run in to the season.

I honestly don't think S and H will let Wembley overbare the league campaign but for me it's a nice distraction to have.

And one thing is for sure, our players deserve that day at Wembley and deserve a massive turn out supporting them.

I too love the distraction. For me it means we are in the run in for a double, league and Trophy. Who didn't like the double in 98? Difference this time is, we're in the conference and it's FA trophy not Division 1 and AWS. But a double is a double. For me it just shows that some still don't have enough faith and belief in the squad and management even with such good statistics on our side. I believe. UTM.

Have followed Town for all my life during the ups and downs.

My son plays for school of excellence which is so well run without any funding and can see some future stars in the lower age teams.

I agree, I think the players who have been so disciplined deserve the day out on the pitch at Wembley and a chance to win something...I highly doubt S and H will let the players get too distracted from the league and if we win the final, I am sure S and H will keep the players feet on the floor too

Agreed with all of the bove. It may be at a much lower level than what we won in 98 but a double is still an achievement
