1997/98  Double Wembley Winners, Beat Leicester (cup holders), Trips to Leeds and Liverpool.

2012/13  Non League Double, FA Trophy, Conference Champions, Promotion back to Football League

I would say the season were we finished 5th in what is now the Premiership and Semi-Final of the FA cup against Arsenal, 1934.

Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.

Has to be 97/98 for most on here but finishing 5th in the Premier league in 1934 wasn't bad.

I suppose 97/98 was for the vast majority out 'best' season although this season could replace it...purely because the prize of getting back into the league is massive in my opinion.

There are a fair few town fans at present that only really know town as being flipping woeful...

If we do in fact end up as champions and winning the trophy ( and I know better than to be counting unhatched chickens ) then this will turn out to be, if not the best, certainly the most important season in my lifetime. It's ALL about getting back in the football league!

My dad said 1934 was a good season,

BUT

For me its 98 which will go into 2nd place if we win this league and the trophy.
