Thanks for posting.
Interesting how the standard is generally poorer than the game now but they're technically better players.
You didn't see Fordy deliver his corners too short !

Tempus bleedin' fugit.    Arsenal 26 years ago, Dartford yesterday...no disrespect to Dartford, but you can't help but hanker, can you.

Odd to see the Pontoon full of away fans.

I was in the Town end - the Osmond, and remember an annoying Spurs fan, living in Grimsby who kept chanting "Lacky, lacky, lacky, lacky Arsur - nal".    Of course, we Grimsby types thought he was cheering FOR Arsenal, rather than indulging in some stupid internecine cockney chatter -- and he was told to shav it, guv'nor.

Nice to see the days when Arsenal had real fans instead of the prawn sandwich munchers that follow them now

The ONLY game that Town have lost that I really enjoyed at the time.

Only downside of watching it now is seeing that tw@t Mike Ly**s.

Amazing! This was the game in which I fell in love with the Mariners, I was 14 and had never been bothered although attended games before this.  From this game on I just could not be kept away, through good days and bad.

I was only about ten then, and had starting supporting town, I knew mike Lyons was a bit crap, cos my poppa told me, but he never told me why?
