Well done to Hatton for his two goals today and I am pleased for you for getting the man of the match. But slightly puzzled by that choice, as you got dragged out of position for their goal and that cost us as the fella that scored was able to do so because there was no right full back picking him up.

Now for me Cookie was phenomenal today. His performance was try outstanding. He won header after header. He held the ball up so well. His twisting and turning was awesome, was excellent with ball at his feet and passed the ball superbly. He caused their defenders hassle all afternoon and was rightfully rewarded for his efforts with a goal.

For me Cookie you was my man of the match in a team where all played well. Big thumbs up to Marshall too.

Not sure it was the right full backs primary job to pick up a central midfielder?

Totally agreed, Cook was brilliant today and Woking aren't the worst side in the league, so if he can perform like that then hopefully we'll start to see him return to half the player he was last season.

I imagine he'll be very happy with his performance today and confidence will be high for next week.

Goodbye Elding.

Perhaps over-egging it somewhat to call it world class. It was good play, however!

Today, I think it was obvious that Cook has some ability if you play it into his feet. As a basic target man, he's not great, so we can't just hit it in his vicinity and hope for the best.

It is when the central midfielder ventures into the part of the box that the right full back defends

tbf hatton doesnt always get the credit he deserves!he had a good game yesterday, but think bradley wood will be back into the side next week after been rested this week!Talking to someone yesterday from Rotherham about marshall and he pretty much says play him week in week out and he,ll give you the goods, thought he had another good game yesterday and understand that this could become a permanant move with a bit of luck! fingers crossed

Cook was very good yesterday, particularly in the middle of the 3.

Agreed. Playing that role you need a bit of luck and a few flick ons did go against him but he's got good ideas. I particularly liked when he ducked out of the header to play in Hannah.

Yes Cook did have a good day, certainly even his best ever day--and about time, so lets not get carried away into thinking he's the next Messiah. How long have we waited and I'm still not convinced he's worthy of a regular place if we seriously seek promotion. Can we afford passengers?  Lets face it the first team is not the place to experiment ,this is the domain of the reserves-are they playing?
