We must play Fleming and the other fringe players to give them much needed match practice,

I am not bothered how far we get, it will be a bonus if we do well,

BUT

Getting out of this league has got to be our main priority this season.

Anyone at home would be good or if it has to be an away tie I hope it's relatively close...

Depending on the draw it's either 3 home games or 3 away games in a row.

Quoted from Gary Haddock
But I would put out first team and play as normal so winning becomes a habbit and the run keeps going. Treat it as we would the league and keep the mentality. A week off for the main team could be a distraction in it self.

Good points trouble is Gary, what happens if a key player gets crocked ?
We'd be kicking ourselves but not JUST that, what happens if we field a strongest team and get turned over by minnows (perhaps thinking it's gonna be a walkover) ?
Could be a complete nightmare, cause all sorts of issues + it's a long old season and there's plenty of other lads who need gametime too.

Yorks a fair point but didn't they have a much bigger squad than us ?

I'd like Gainsborough (away !) or a reunion with Macca & co at home to Harrogate.

Nice place is Buxton if we have to replay. Don't know anything about the footy team- what level they are at or how good/bad they are.

Would imagine it's a plum tie for their players and they will be well up for it.

Ross Hannah once scored 7 goals in an F.A. Trophy match. Could history repeat itself?
