What do we know of Saturdays opponents ?

Manager Garry Hill probably best remembered for his FA Cup giantkilling exploits with Dag & Redbridge.

Their last game vs Kiddy:
http://www.wokingfc.co.uk/news/article/3680/cards-share-spoils-in-entertaining-draw/

"The Cards made two changes to the side which started in the disappointing defeat at Gateshead on Saturday - Adam Doyle and Bradley Bubb replacing Mike Cestor and Loick Pires, who both dropped to the bench. The team lined up in the now familiar 4-5-1 formation, allowing Kevin Betsy and Gavin McCallum to push forward in support of lone striker Bubb whenever possible."

"Despite a goal looking as though it could come at any minute at either end, the referee brought this pulsating encounter to an end without any further addition to the scoreline and both teams looked exhausted as they trooped off the pitch."

Which perhaps gives some room for optimism after Gary Hill's comments in this audio interview after their 2-1 defeat at Gateshead

http://www.wokingfc.co.uk/news/article/3674/garry-hill-interview/ (worth a quick listen)

"Going into the match, Woking were the highest scorers in the Conference Premier but had also conceded more goals than any other team. On this performance, it was easy to see why. Excellent going forward and with a number of skilful players who can hurt the opposition, they can also look vulnerable when defending and prone to the occasional lapse in concentration. That said, they sit in eleventh place in the league with twenty-three points from eighteen matches and hopefully well on course for Garry's 'safety' target of fifty points. Keeping their key players fit will be of paramount importance as they approach the difficult winter period. It won't come much harder than Saturday's long trip to Grimsby."

Yes indeed!

WBA away in the FA Cup - they won 4-2 I think. Think he got an hat-trick 😯

What about that baldy winger who always looked ace when they were having their Cup runs? Can't remember his name, but I think he played for Woking?

Woking are a bit hit and miss this season. Last game I went to was against Dartford which was pretty dire. Defence can be dodgy at times with the midfield weakened since the bald headed one (can't remember his name) moved to a league club.

I think if town can get at there defence pretty early they'll be there for the taking!

I think RS will make changes for this game - Miller and Thanoj in maybe. Who will be dropped is the question?
