Um Bongo will definitely stick it up your Democratic Republic of Congo hole,

When I think of people who 'stole' a living off the club I think of Bore, Colgan, Beagrie, Butler and Hudson. People who could have given so much more in return for their wage but weren't motivated to. To put the hard working Leary in that bracket is harsh - maybe he fluked a living off the club along with Serge and others.

Back to the original point that Gainsbrough dominated Lincoln, either Lincoln are going to have a really cack season or Gainsbrough will have a good one. Hopefully both

I met him in a pub once, really nice guy and had good chat with him for about 20 mins. Told me he used to be sick nearly every game, thats how hard he worked and nobody should accuse him of stealing a living off the club.

I liked him. Wasn't a great player but was a grafter and that helped lift the spirits and morale on the pitch - to a certain extent!

Leary would run through brick walls for the club, that takes guts.  Leary is one of the few players who hasn't robbed the club of a wage, a squad player with heart.


Supporting the Mighty Mariners for over 30 years, home town club is were the heart and soul is and it's great to be a part of it.
