Just wondered how many of you have already sorted your digs out for Southport?

What sort prices you paying?  I've had a quick look & it seems a bit pricey + alot only do 2 nights stay minimum.

We paid £25 each B&B and The Carlton Lodge and it was excellent. Maybe a bit more with it being the height of the season though. Very close to the centre/seafront and although about 2-3 miles from the ground, taxi's were about half the price they are in Grimsby.

Just checked for 11th August and they still have twin and double rooms with breakfast included for £60 the room, so only a fiver more each than what we paid.

The beach is cheap....Still have to determine where I'll be staying, but some really decent pubs in Southport.
